The Old Sidings was pleased to see another supermarket demonstrating its confidence in the future of Goole by planning to build a new store in the town. If the application on Rawcliffe Road is successful, it will mean Goole can offer residents and visitors additional grocery retail options to Tesco, Asda, Lidl, Iceland and the many wonderful independents. With a further 30 to 40 full and part time jobs, there will also be a financial boost to the local economy and – possibly – more contractors needing serviced accommodation like The Old Sidings.
